Topeka Metro offers free rides to Veterans on 11-11-25

TOPEKA, KANSAS (November 6, 2025) – Topeka Metro will offer free rides on all fixed routes on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in recognition of Veterans Day. To ride free, passengers must present a valid military ID to the bus operator when boarding.

Accepted forms of military identification include:

• Military ID
• Common Access Card (CA
• Kansas Driver’s License with “VETERAN” stamp on it
• Veteran Identification Card (VIC)
• DD214

Topeka Metro is proud to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Each year, we recognize Veterans Day by offering free rides to those who have served, and we extend our gratitude to the veterans who are part of the Topeka Metro team as well.
