Washburn/Washburn Tech Students, Faculty & Staff Ride Free 2026-27

Topeka Metro partners with Washburn University to provide free rides to Washburn/Washburn Tech students, faculty and staff with a current iCard ID during the current school year.  Just show your iCard to the bus operator and you're good to go!

Topeka Metro runs three routes around Washburn University. The first route is on the north side of the college, which is the #17 West 17th route (green); on the east side of the college, which is the #7 Washburn route (navy); and on the south side of the college, which is the #21 West 21st route (fuchia).

For Washburn Tech, there is a bus stop on the #12 Huntoon route (orange) and there is a bus stop at Washburn Tech East on the #5 Indiana route (aquamarine). The newest Washburn Tech North is on NW Tyler and the route for the bus is #1 Oakland (gold).
